Kunjungan sengaja dilakukan LPPM Institut Stiami, dalam upaya studi untuk meningkatakan pemahaman serta membangun jaringan sekaligus membangun Publikasi di lingkungan eksternal kampus. Mengingat jejaring kampus adalah bagian dari komponen pemeringkatan dan akreditasi, maka tindak lanjut kunjungan ini nantinya akan sangat bermanfaat untuk pengembangan institusi. Pertemuan di terima oleh Kepala Pusat Pengabdian Masyarakat: Dr. Unggul Priyadi, M.Si. dan Sekretaris DPPM: Feris Firdaus, S.Si., M.Sc.

Implementasi dari adanya Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) harus menjadi perhatian bagi lembaga khususnya Perguruan Tinggi (PT) yang memiliki fokus pada aspek pendidikan. Dalam aspek akreditasi PT kegiatan nyata dari MoU itulah yang harus ditonjolkan. Rektor Universitas Widya Mataram (UWM) Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec menyampakan hal tersebut pada acara kunjungan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Institut Stiami ke UWM Senin (13/1/2020). Sementara Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof. Dr. Ir. Ambar Rukmini, MP mengatakan joint research dan joint publication harus ada action yang nyata. Link kunjungan ke UWM

Seminar Hasil Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat tahun 2019. Dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Desember 2019. Tujuan adalah untuk berbagi pengalaman antar sesama dosen dalam melakukan riset dan PkM dan untuk menunjukkan hasil atau riset dan produk-produk PkM oleh para dosen dan mitra PkM. Dan yang paling penting dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam penguatan perekonomian dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Perguruan Tinggi, yang berkelanjutan.

“On Literature Riview Using ATLAS.ti” pemateri M. Amsal Shahban, Ph.D., dilaksanakan pada 15 November 2019 bertempat di Institut STIAMI Jakarta. Pada Software ini berguna dalam membantu proses analisis data jenis penelitian kualitatif grounded theory, dalam pengolahan datanya setiap data diberi coding sehingga memudahkan peneliti nantinya untuk memanggil kembali data tersebut sebagai bahan diskusi dalam penelitiannya.

Research Advance : LPPM Institut Stiami menyelenggarakan Workshop Kualitatif RESEARCH COLLEGIUM TRILOGI METODOLOGI PENELITIAN SOSIAL yang berlangsung di el Royale Hotel Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, pada 24 – 25 Agustus 2019.  Pemateri pada workshop ini adalah Prof. Dr. H. Burhan Bungin, B.Sc. S.Sos. M.Si. Ph. D.  Saat ini Prof. Burhan merupakan Dekan Fikom Universitas Ciputra,  Ketua Umum IQRA (Indonesian Qualitative Researcher Colloquium) serta penulis banyak buku-buku metodologi penelitian kualitatif. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh sejumlah dosen bukan hanya berasal dari DKI Jakarta saja,  melainkan juga dari luar DKI Jakarta, dan luar Jawa.   Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, diharapkan peserta mahir menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif.

LPPM Institut Stiami held a “A Half Day Workshop Academic Writing” which took place on August 6, 2019. Speakers at this workshop were Prof. Dr. Eng. Wisnu Jatmiko S.T., M.Kom.,
Born in Surabaya, Wisnu Jatmiko received his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering and M.Sc. degree from The Faculty of Computer Science, both are received from Universitas Indonesia in 1997 and 2000 respectively. In 2007, he received his Dr. Eng. degree from The Micro-Nano Systems Engineering, Nagoya University, Japan.

The 2019 International Conference on Science and Technology in Administration and Management Information (ICSTIAMI).  Theme “Sustainable Development: from Research to Actions”. ICSTIAMI 2019 will be held on July 17-18, 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia. This conference is hosted by Institut Ilmu Sosial dan Manajemen Stiami, Indonesia. The Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta) is the capital city of the country and largest city in Indonesia. In the northern part of Jakarta, the Thousand Islands Marine Marine Park is located 45 km (28 mi) from Jakarta. The islands of the Thousand Islands is an administrative regency which belongs to the city of Jakarta. There are 108 islands in the Thousand Islands located on the north coast of Jakarta, but only 11 are inhabited and 36 can be used for recreation.  In the Thousand Islands, or you can go swimming, snorkeling, diving, or other beach activities.

Kemitraan merupakan salah satu upaya dalam mewujudkan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Pada tanggal 2-3 Mei lalu, LPPM Institut Stiami bekerja sama dengan FISIP UIT / Universitas Indonesia Timur, menggelar NVivo 12 Workshop di Kota Makassar. Kerjasama ini merupakan implementasi dari MoU/ Nota Kesepahaman antara Institut STIAMI dan Universitas Indonesia Timur. NVivo Workshop ini diikuti oleh dosen-dosen Universitas Indonesia Timur, juga dosen-dosen dari perguruan tinggi di luar Kota Makassar. Nvivo merupakan software olah data kualitatif dan mixed method. Pemateri Workshop adalah Agustinus Bandur, Ph. D, yang merupakan trainer tersertifikasi dari QSR International, Produser Resmi Software NVivo dari Australia. Dalam workshop yang berlangsung di Hotel Denpasar, Kota Makassar tersebut, peserta memperoleh materi tingkat dasar dan lanjutan.

LPPM Institut STIAMI menyelenggarakan Focus Discussion Group/ FGD pada Jumat, 26 April 2019. FGD merupakan salah satu pertemuan ilmiah untuk menggali satu tema khusus. FGD kali ini bertema “Human Resources, Safety and Supply Chain Management to Gain Competitive Advantage in Business”. Sebagai narasumber dalam FGD ini adalah para peneliti dari Pakistan, yaitu Muhammad Saeed Shahbaz, Ph. D. dengan materi Identification, Assesment, and Mitigation of Supply chain Risks for Malaysian Manufacturing. Lalu, Mudaser Javaid dengan materi Human Resources Management in Telecom Pakistan serta Danish Memon dengan materi Occupational Safety and Health for Malaysian Manufacturing.
